“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” (Romans 8:18)
Just because you’re a Christian doesn’t mean that only “good things” will happen to you. If you truly are a Christian, you will always be blessed, but a blessing from God just might be persecution from unbelievers. In the Bible, Stephen was nothing but good, full of the Holy Spirit, telling people the Good News of Christ and helping those around him..yet He was stoned to death by the people who opposed what he taught (Acts 6) 🙏🏼
Here’s a clip from Sevin’s awesome testimony! I also need to repent of waiting to get some ‘good time’ in with people before sharing the good news that God came to save them. The time we have on this earth is short and we need to be intentional about making the best use of it.
"Do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, but is patient towards us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise..."
(2 Peter 3:8-10)
